Trades 2018-10-04T20:33:22+00:00

Mick Fox (ex-Builder) and Simon Holmshaw (Health and Safety) have been running networking meetings in the Sheffield area for the last 10 years.  The Firm Networking Ltd was incorporated in 2014 and hosts a successful and well attended meeting every Friday morning.  Typically, attendees are from all backgrounds, from solicitors to printers, web designers to painters and decorators.

With a wide range of contacts, they have been asked from several quarters to provide and host a networking event aimed specifically at trades people, associated with the construction industry.

Our ethos is to support new and established business owners with a place to meet like minded trades businesses to share ideas, solve problems and refer business and jobs to each other.

With no membership fees you are free to attend as much or as little as you want.  But our experience tells us, regular attendance generally proves beneficial in all areas.

Our Trades only event is held the last Friday of every month at SUFC Bramall Lane with free parking provided in the main Cherry Street car park

The meeting starts at 2pm in the International Suite located on John Street and finishes at 4pm

The cost of this event is just £15 including buffet lunch and tea and coffee.  A licensed bar will be open for the purchase of alcoholic beverages

Tickets must be pre-booked and any supplying business to trades must contact the organiser prior to the event to be approved admission.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission should you not meet our qualifying criteria.

Our events are typically laid back and relaxed with a decent slice of Sheffield banter.

The Firm is a not-for-profit networking organisation and we donate any money we raise at our events to various local charities, including Sheffield Animal Centre.

The Sheffield RSPCA Branch is a separately registered charity to the National RSPCA and must generate all its own operating costs in the Sheffield area.

The Charity receives no national or government funding to operate and all their funds must be raised locally by a team of volunteers, through events, charity shops and via legacies.
